Creating optimal processes through a better structuring of rooms was the objective in the conversion and new building of house 23 of the Clinical Centre of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt am Main.

As a response to the changes in medical examination and treatment procedures, all functional areas were transferred from the main building to the new one with 14 operating theatres and 6 treatment rooms.
Capacity for approx. 44,000 in-patients and 200,000 out-patients per year.

Underground corridors connecting hospital wards to the new building ensure short transport paths. A clinical centre was created that appeals to all its users.

Particularly in the central sterilisation unit, BLANCO packing tables and BLANCO cabinet units helped to create ergonomic and staff-friendly workplaces.

With approx. 270 cabinet units of powder-coated sheet steel, including all installation devices and additional components, BLANCO MEDICAL CARE SYSTEMS provided the entire furnishings for the bare functional building in all areas.
